During a 36-hour event at BASE Milano, Ultravioletto presented the new installation Tempo Radicale and the Mycelium performance. The artwork transformed a post-industrial hall into an immersive environment, where AI-generated visuals and light beams explored time as both a measurable flow and an organic vitality, highlighting the connection between human and non-human entities.

The artwork transformed a post-industrial hall into an immersive environment, where AI-generated visuals and light beams explored time as both a measurable flow and an organic vitality, highlighting the connection between human and non-human entities.
I actively proposed the project to the host location BASE Milano and, working closely with Ultravioletto, with whom I have been collaborating on creative projects, I managed and oversaw the production of both the installation and the Mycelium performance, from initial concept to final execution. I also edited the photos and videos of the event.

Durante un evento di 36 ore a BASE Milano, Ultravioletto ha presentato la nuova installazione Tempo Radicale e la performance Mycelium. L'opera ha trasformato una sala post-industriale in un ambiente immersivo, dove visual generati dall'AI e fasci di luce hanno esplorato il tempo come un flusso misurabile e una vitalità organica, richiamando la connessione tra umano e non-umano.

Ho proposto attivamente il progetto alla location ospitante, BASE Milano, per conto di Ultravioletto, con cui collaboro con continuità su progetti creativi, seguendo l'intera produzione dell'installazione, dalla concettualizzazione alla realizzazione finale. Inoltre ho seguito l'editing delle foto e del video dell'evento.
Tempo Radicale is a site-specific multimedia installation by Ultravioletto, presented during TUTTA BASE, a 36-hour event at BASE Milano. The artwork transforms a large post-industrial hall into an immersive environment where light and AI-generated visuals explore the dual nature of time: its measurable, geometric flow and its organic, unpredictable vitality. In alignment with the 2025 curatorial theme Making Kin, the installation invites visitors into a space of connection. - between human, non-human, and more-than-human entities. Two opposing yet interconnected environments unfold: one where beams of light, in constant motion, trace 129,600 seconds across the room, making time visible and structured; shrouded in darkness and interrupted by flashes of light, the space becomes a sensorial meditation on rhythm, growth, and interdependence. The installation becomes a sensorial meditation on connection: an architecture of time that listens to the pulse of life.
The other environment revealed a mycelium network in constant transformation—pulsing with natural intelligence and expanding through images of the ecosystems it sustains. As in the AV live performance Mycelium, a real-time AI-generated video depicted this living web growing, branching, and evolving.
Tempo Radicale è un'installazione multimediale site-specific di Ultravioletto, presentata durante TUTTA BASE, un evento di 36 ore a BASE Milano. L'opera trasforma una grande sala post-industriale in un ambiente immersivo dove luce e visual generati dall'AI esplorano la duplice natura del tempo: il suo flusso misurabile e la sua vitalità organica e imprevedibile. In linea con il tema curatoriale 2025 di BASE, Making Kin, l'installazione invita i visitatori in uno spazio di connessione - tra entità umane, non-umane e more-than-human.
Si dispiegano due ambienti opposti ma interconnessi: il primo, con fasci di luce in costante movimento che tracciano 129.600 secondi, rende il tempo visibile e strutturato; l'altro rivela una rete di micelio in costante trasformazione, pulsante di intelligenza naturale ed espansione attraverso immagini degli ecosistemi che sostiene. Similmente alla performance live AV Mycelium, un video generato dall'AI in tempo reale raffigura questa rete vivente in crescita, ramificazione ed evoluzione. L'installazione diventa una meditazione sensoriale sulla connessione: un'architettura del tempo che ascolta il polso della vita.
